Photo & Poem: In the Sand

We love the sand
It's crowded
With twigs, leaves and things
We shape them into faces
We pat them down
We made this

We bury our feet in
Our hands faced down caressing
The rough and warm surfaces
We pat them down
We like this

Sand falls between our fingers
Like time that goes to waste
Found many broken seashells
But we still heard the waves

Shady branches float between
You and I and clouds above
Swaying shadows in the wind
What are you thinking of?

  1. Nice poem, Ira. Whose pics are those?

  2. Thanks. They are my pictures.
